When Herbalife found us in the autumn of 2002, the timing was perfect. We were living apart, through a mixture of circumstance and disillusionment in our careers. We had forgotten how to dream. The problem was not our relationship; we really wanted shared goals and an extraordinary life together, but what we were doing clearly wasn't delivering! Although we had some trepidation over the change in direction we were presented with, we were determined to give it our very best efforts.

We were inspired by the many product testimonials we heard at our first Success Training Seminar, and soon developed results of our own, both in Inner and Outer Nutrition. We started to look and feel so much better, and people around us could see that a positive change was taking place.

A new business meant a new start, and some big decisions. As brand new Supervisors, we took the brave step of ending our jobs and moving away from the south-west coast, resulting in a 200 mile relocation to Barnsley in South Yorkshire. There, part-time work allowed us to work on our new full-time opportunity, developing a local customer base and a small team of Distributors.

Our early success in retail and sponsoring qualified us to attend our first big event, the President's Summit in Nice, early in 2003. It was there that we saw the full scale of what we had joined — a global organisation with the potential to change so many lives for the better. Herbalife was going to be successful with or without us, and we decided that we wanted to be a key part in building the opportunity in the United Kingdom.

Four years on... so much has changed since those first tentative steps that we took. We love what we do now — helping to spread the benefits of good nutrition through our efforts and those of our organisation, growing steadily every month. We still work hard, and do so because the rewards are there if you keep moving forward. We travel to new countries each year, enjoying paid vacations and attending the most amazing parties. The opportunity is stronger than ever, and our business growth in recent months has resulted in our proudest moment to date — reaching the prestigious Millionaire Team.

Thank you to our Upline, for finding us, supporting and developing us into the people we have become in the last four years. You had more faith in us than we had in ourselves at the start, and helped us to see the big picture of what was possible very early on.

Thank you to our Cross-line support. Our 'low-key' qualification plans quickly became the worst-kept secret in Herbalife — many of our colleagues and friends seemed to know about it, and we're very glad they did. So much warmth and good energy came our way over the 90 days, lifting our spirits and motivating us, helping to make our success unavoidable. It's such an interesting, unique situation — do you know of any other business where your associates encourage you all the way to achieving a promotion?
